The 30-day organic content plan for app founders

6 min read

Organic short-form is the highest-leverage channel for early-stage apps: distribution is free, and one video can outperform months of paid spend. But most founders quit after ten posts because they treat every video as precious. The plan below is built around volume, fast feedback, and formats that don't require you on camera.

Week 1 — set up the machine

Create accounts on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Warm them up for 2–3 days: scroll your niche, follow relevant accounts, save sounds. Meanwhile, write down your product's three strongest angles — the pains it kills, the outcomes it creates, the 'wait, it does that?' moments.

Pick three repeatable formats to start: a hook + screen demo, a green-screen meme reaction, and a text-on-video story. Repeatable matters more than original.

Weeks 2–3 — post daily, judge weekly

Publish one video per format per day — three posts daily across platforms. It sounds like a lot; with templates and AI generation it's under an hour of work. Don't judge individual videos. Judge weekly: which hooks, formats, and angles earned above-average watch time?

Expect 80% of posts to do nothing. That's not failure — that's the cost of finding the 20% that work.

Week 4 — double down and systemize

Take your two best-performing videos and make five variations of each: new hook, same body; same hook, new demo; same script, different creator. Winners are rarely one-offs — they're templates you haven't finished milking.

By day 30 you should have a clear picture of what your niche responds to, a content system that runs on under an hour a day, and your first videos with real reach. From there it's repetition — and that's exactly the loop Rockit is built to run for you, from trend discovery to auto-posting.
